Myatt Baking Co – Legal Policies

1. Privacy Policy

We collect customer information such as name, email, phone number, billing/shipping address, and order details to process and fulfill orders.

We do not store payment information
Payments are securely processed via third-party providers (PayPal, Apple Pay, Cash App)
We do not sell or rent your personal information

2. Use of Information

Order fulfillment and delivery
Customer communication
Improving services

3. Refund Policy

Due to the perishable nature of baked goods, all sales are final.

No returns accepted
No refunds once orders are processed
Exceptions only for incorrect or severely damaged items

Claims must be submitted within 24 hours with photo proof.

4. Shipping & Pickup

We are not responsible for carrier delays or damage
Customers must pick up orders on time
Unclaimed orders may be discarded without refund

5. Food Safety Disclaimer

Products may be made in a home kitchen not inspected by the health department (Texas Cottage Food Law).

Products may contain allergens (wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy)
We do not guarantee allergen-free products
Customers assume all risks related to allergies

6. No Chargebacks / Dispute Resolution

By placing an order, you agree not to initiate a chargeback without contacting us first.

Customers must contact us within 24 hours for issues
We will attempt resolution via replacement or store credit
Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action and fees

7. Binding Arbitration

All disputes handled in Texas
Resolved via binding arbitration
No class-action participation

8. Custom Orders

50% non-refundable deposit required
Balance due before pickup/delivery
No refunds on cancellations
Changes must be made 72 hours in advance

9. No-Shows

Missed pickups forfeit the order
No refunds for abandoned orders

10. Wedding & Event Orders

Large orders require strict contractual agreement.

Non-refundable deposit required to book
Full payment due 7 days before event
Guest count finalized 7 days prior
Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable

11. Delivery & Setup

Delivery times must be adhered to
Not responsible for venue delays
Responsibility transfers upon delivery

12. Limitation of Liability

Myatt Baking Co is not liable for illness, allergic reactions, or damages after delivery or pickup.

13. Agreement

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agreed to all policies listed above.
